The Book of Revelation will be studied in short sections. Some of the initial sections will be quite occupied with ‘background’ cultural and religious studies so that readers unfamiliar with the book can get to feel more at home.
Not all the book will be studied and not all of the stuff I post will be sequential. In other words I might ‘cherry pick’ bits I enjoy. Should anyone want deeper verse by verse instruction drop us a line.
Beside being 2000 or so years old and written in the common Greek tongue of the time readers may also be unfamiliar with the cultural, geographic and mythological background of the book. I’ll do my best to explain as I go but after 50 years of study I do take for granted a knowledge of stuff many may never have heard of before.
